Kasalang Filipino 2007 Finale in Glamor and Style
Kasalang Filipino 2007 nationwide
wedding fair roadshow had a glamorous finale in the Queen City of
the South last Oct. 19-21 in Ayala Center Cebu.
Proving that Cebu has so much more than Monique Lhuiller to offer
to the world of bridal fashion, the City’s leading fashion
designers showcased their bridal masterpieces on the three-day wedding
event.

After the
ceremonial toast led by event co-presentors’ Ayala Center
Cebu, ABS-CBN, and Kasal.com, the members of the Fashion Council
of Cebu presented their own interpretation of the modern Filipina
bride.
Albert Arriba’s halter top gown exudes sexy confidence
while Minnie Yuviengco’s strapless number with matching
veil conveys sweet delicacy
Jun Escario’s creation radiates with raw sexuality,
the exact opposite of Arcy Gayatin’s mini bride dress
perfect for the demure bride.
Felix Yu’s off-shoulder gown is made more fetching with
the handiwork on its fabric whereas Cary Santiago’s
signature for “alternative details” left the crowd
in awe with his bareback, silver-lined wedding creation.
Not to be outdone, Philip Rodriguez did a modern take on native
fabrics, putting extra oomph on both the bodice and skirt.
|
And of
course, everybody just fell in love with the sweetness and
lightness of OJ Hofer’s gold and tulle wedding creation.
The second day of the event continued to celebrate the ingenuity
of Cebuano fashion designers, with the bridal creations of
the members of Cebu Fashion Designers Alliance taking center
stage.
To complete the three-day festivity, Koncepts and More, together
with fashion designer Jed Sevilla, did a mock wedding presentation,
and Ever Bilena Cosmetics held a make up competition among
Cebuano make up artists.
Premier wedding suppliers - from Cebu's famous hotels and
resorts to renowned cakes and photo/video providers to seasoned
wedding planners and floral stylists - were showcased in the
different paseos of Ayala Center Cebu. |

Wedding related talks and musical renditions by
topnotch Cebuano talents were held simultaneously.
Truly, only the best and finest of Cebu’s wedding industry for
Kasalang Filipino 2007 roadshow finale.
