North Luzon's Biggest Wedding Expo Slated in Tarlac
|
Once popular as a “stopover” for weary
travellers to grab a bite (or answer the call of nature),
in truth, Tarlac deserves a thorough “look-over”
with its historical, religious, and tourist attractions.
To name a few - the Aquino Museum, Capas Shrine, reliquary
of the True Cross of Jesus, Lubigan Eco-Tourism Park,
Hacienda Luisita - all can be found in Tarlac.
And on June 22-23, Tarlac is set to unveil another
attraction as it hosts the biggest wedding expo yet
to be organized in North Luzon.
Locally dubbed Kasalang Tarlaqueño, the event
will take stage at the Aquino Center, one of Tarlac’s
elegant wedding venues, and it will showcase more
than 50 different wedding suppliers from North and
Central Luzon.
|
Organized by the Tarlac
Convention & Visitors Bureau, in cooperation with the
Department of Tourism Region 3, the wedding fair will be opened
with a motorcade and MalaTarlak festival street dancing exhibition.
Aside from the exquisite wedding displays, fair guests will
also witness the wedding photo contest as well as the thematic
wedding table setup competition.
Ever Bilena, the event’s
official makeup partner, will show brides-to-be how to properly
choose and apply cosmetics. On the other hand, Café
Maja Rica, one of Tarlac’s sought-after caterers, will
do a cooking demo to help couples prepare for their new home.
A very special fashion show by Tarlac’s prominent designers
will cap the event.
To-be weds will receive
a special token upon registration. Special discounts, promos
are in store for them when they book/reserve during the event
with any of the participating wedding suppliers. Soon-to-wed
attendees can also avail of FREE pre-nuptial photo session
at the Coco Gardens of Coconut Grill Resort, a truly romantic
garden wedding venue in Tarlac. Afterwards, they can enjoy
free use of the resort’s facilities – swimming
pool, boating/fishing, vegetable picking.
To-be wed guests can also
opt to have a spiritual journey to the Monastery of the True
Cross in San Jose, Tarlac. A special trip will be arranged
twice a day during the event dates. For those who would rather
stay in the event’s vicinity, they can simply enjoy
the romantic ambiance of Hacienda Luisita and stay the night
at Microtel Tarlac, a stone’s throw away from the event
venue and which offers 40% discount during event dates.
A grand raffle prize of
honeymoon package in Boracay from Microtel Inns & Resorts
and an appliance showcase from Standard Appliances await lucky
event guests.
