Printing To Perfection

By Jonathan Dionisio | December 2009

A wedding photographer's job does not end after taking the photos. After a couple have said their “I do's”, concluded their wedding ceremony, and gave their thanks to guests, a photographer has to ensure that he/she has immortalized and preserved these moments through good wedding photographs, albums, and videos. With this, printed photos and wedding albums should be in good quality, durable to last for a long, long time.

Proper knowledge on the process, technique, and cost of printing serve as an added tool for photographers. It allows them to work more efficiently, cost-effectively, and give the couples their wedding albums on schedule, if not, at an earlier time and this is what makes Nice Print Photography different from the rest. They are very hands-on when it comes to producing their wedding photos.

Mrs. Charisse Tinio of Nice Print Photography shares that their humble beginnings in the photo developing industry helped them in understanding the importance of quality output. The company traces its roots from her husband’s (Mr. Jibby Tinio) first business, a Konica Photo Express outlet that they started in 2001. In 2005, after opening eight more branches, they decided to expand the services of their business and venture into wedding photography and videography. Of course, Mr. and Mrs. Tinio and their team further trained themselves in the ins and outs of wedding photography.

The team kept their prior knowledge and experience in photo developing which, in the long run, helped them to lower their costs compared to other wedding suppliers. “I know exactly how much pictures cost,” said Mrs. Tinio. However, Charisse and Jibby did not abandon their first business. Instead, they incorporated it with Nice Print Photography and decided to print their own photos. She added that by understanding how photo developing works and by insourcing photo printing, they were able to offer affordable rates to soon-to-wed couples who want to avail of their services.

By printing their own photos, the company is able to control the quality of print out. Mrs. Tinio disclosed that since they understand the technical side of photo developing, they have the capability to reject outputs that are below their standards and give their clientele the best printed photos. For both photos and wedding album, they make sure that the colors are right, skin tones are perfect, and the elements are balanced with minor editing possible.

Another advantage they have is that they are able to meet deadlines with ease. They do not rely on the timeframe of printing providers since they have the printing equipment at hand. With this, they can produce the photos faster and deliver them to the couple ahead of time.

As one of the few photo and video services in the country that has its own photo laboratory, maintaining their own printers have become costly and take more effort. Still, they continue to produce their own photos because they are fueled by the positive feedback of their clientele. With this, Nice Print Photography continues to find ways on how to innovate themselves, improve in their craft, and produce higher quality photos and albums that reflect the joy and love couples feel during their special day – their wedding.
