In partnership with ABS-CBN, Kasal.com – the essential Filipino wedding guide has concluded its nationwide 10-city wedding roadshow tour last October 27-28 at The Enterprise Center, Makati.

Aptly titled Wedding Trends 2005, the Manila leg showcased the local wedding trends in a whole new way. More than the usual exhibit of wedding wares and crafts, each of the 10 wedding pavilions that were displayed showed a distinct wedding concept –- Contemporary-, Japanese-, Chinese-, Garden- or Fantasy-inspired.

With the expertise of event stylist Henry Pascual and the artistry of lights by Forsc Ink, Wedding Trends 2005 has truly set the trend and glam on how wedding fairs should be done.

The first day was opened with a demo-talk by ABS-CBN Metro Weddings. A grand food tasting for couples was sponsored by The Manila Catering, Josiah’s Catering and Robert Camba Catering. Hosted by Ms. Karen Timbol, the evening was capped by a wedding fashion show of some of the country’s premiere wedding designers: Edwin Uy, Emily Sy, Kathleen Yeung, Prince Albert, and Susie Bonaobra.

The second day was opened with a wedding photo gallery by the industry’s known wedding photographers. Couples had another round of food tasting courtesy of Hizon’s Catering, Better Pan Catering and VSF Catering. The evening was concluded with the raffle draw of the following grand prizes: Honeymoon Getaway Package and a pair of special edition Celestial Artistry Diamond Wedding Rings.
